I will start with my first hero,Rikimaru.Rikimaru is probably best hero for new players.So lets start.
Powers by level:                          
1.Blink
2.Smoke
3.Blink
4.Back Attack
5.Blink
6.Invisibilty
7.Blink
8,Smoke
9.Back Attack
10.Back Attack
11.Invisibilty
12.Smoke
13.Back Attack
14. +
15-24+
25.Smoke

Start items:(1-4lvl)
Tree,Healving Salve,Queling Blade
(4-7) level you have to go on Power threads.
And after that depend how much good start match and which heroes are opponent.
If you have many inteligente opponents,you have to go on two items.
Diffusal Blade and Sange and Yasha.
Diffusal will decrease their mana , Sange and Yasha will increse your health and movement speed(booth items boost agility).Vladimir ia also good item.

If you have many deaths pretty cool item are wraith band.He will increase you all stats,he is relativy cheap and will help to get out of crysis.

Anyway it all comes down to gain  Riki attack speed.Two way.If you have money you are going on Butterfly,
otherwise good substitute is Hyperstone,he will not increase your agility but definitly will increase your atack speed.

Remember.It all depend of situation. how much you get gold ,what is content of opposit team.
All you need to do is to.
1.Gain agility(for back attack and attack speed)
2.Passive(Sange,Cranium Basher,Vladimir,Desolator,Buriza,) if you have a fast attack speed passive will have a full power.
